Chemical fertilisers risk leaching into waterways, potentially harming aquatic ecosystems. Peat extraction contributes to habitat destruction in sensitive peat bogs. OUTCO BioBlend™ Super D offers a sustainable alternative for environmentally conscious clients.

The Problem

OUTCO recognised the need for a grounds maintenance solution that addressed the shortcomings of traditional methods. Chemical fertilisers and peat pose environmental risks, while failing to promote long-term soil health. OUTCO created BioBlend™ Super D for our clients, which not only enhances plant growth but also improves soil structure, benefits the environment and ensures that recycled material is put back into the earth rather than creating unnecessary waste.

The Solution

OUTCO BioBlend™ Super D is a 100% organic, peat-free solution. This unique blend combines OUTCO BioBlend™ Super using recycled composted green waste with well-rotted farmyard manure and mushroom compost, together with added water-retaining modules. This approach minimises the product’s carbon footprint, whilst the innovative mixing process, utilising a Keenan machine with a two-chamber system, ensures a consistent and efficient blend. As one farmer-producer noted,

The Result
