The Challenge

As part of its offering, OCS provides a winter maintenance service, to selected clients where requested. This helps to ensure their sites remain both safe and operational during periods of heavy snowfall and ice. The company has recently outsourced this work to OUTCO, providing protection for clients against the financial and physical risks of adverse weather.

OCS has had a nationwide contract with Fujitsu. Due to the stringent requirements and the highly sensitive nature of the sites, OUTCO needed to provide a bespoke service to Fujitsu. This would be a true partnership of all parties involved, where site management teams would liaise directly with the OUTCO management team to ensure the best possible service at all times during the winter season. Both Fujitsu and OCS had outsourced this service to different contractors.

The Result

OUTCO completed in the region of 770 visits to Fujitsu sites during the winter of 2012-13, which also extended in April 2013 – due to the bad weather.
