The shopping park has a responsibility to its customers and staff to keep its grounds clear of snow and ice in order to minimise any slip-ups or accidents. During the winter months the car parks and walkways need to be cleared long before the shops open so that the employees can arrive safely

OUTCO works as the principal winter service provider for Amey under their national partnership with the Ministry of Justice (MOJ). We deliver a highly performing winter gritting and snow clearance service to MOJ prisons each winter season – across Wales, northern England and the West Midlands.

BNP Paribas Real Estate has worked with the UK’s leading winter risk management specialist, OUTCO, since 2008. OUTCO looks after a portfolio of properties for BNP Paribas Real Estate across the UK, and specifically manages 100-120 properties in the Midlands.

OUTCO provided a robust, consistent solution that ensured the sites remained safe and operational throughout winter. For the first time in many years, not one snow and ice related claim was received from the prisoners unaccompanied through the gates. This worked particularly well and provided us with greater flexibility with regard to service times.

OUTCO undertakes a wide scope of works for Morrisons Supermarkets, on behalf of Savills. Fourteen supermarkets are maintained across the North West, Norfolk, West Yorkshire, the Midlands and South East England.

Our extensive portfolio includes the Savills retail estate, incorporating Morrisons stores and ten of their associated Fuel Filling Stations, including those in Bradford, Coalville, and Canvey Island. On all we are acutely aware of our customers duty to ensure contractors working on associated Petrol Filling Stations adhere to specified standards.

Key client B&Q has been working with OUTCO for 5 years working under a performance-based contract. We deliver a full scope winter service to 149 sites.
