All-Season Grounds Maintenance Packages

OUTCO provides a number of all-season grounds packages that will ensure that your facility is maintained to professional standards with guaranteed visits according to your service level. These packages range from Bronze through to Platinum level to suit facilities of every type and size

Bronze Package

The OUTCO Bronze Grounds Maintenance package includes mowing, trimming shrubs, pruning, sweeping, cleaning your car park and green waste removal, all on a monthly schedule with 12 guaranteed visits per year.

Silver Package

The OUTCO Silver Grounds Maintenance package includes mowing, trimming shrubs, pruning, sweeping, cleaning your car park and green waste removal, all on a fortnightly schedule with 19 guaranteed visits per year, but also includes cutting your lawns between March-October.

Gold Package

The OUTCO Gold Grounds Maintenance package includes everything in the Silver package, including mowing, trimming shrubs, pruning, sweeping, cleaning your car park and green waste removal. However, works are conducted on a weekly schedule with 52 guaranteed visits per year. It also includes cutting your lawns between March-October.

Platinum Package

The OUTCO Platinum Grounds Maintenance package is the right choice for clients who want to fully outsource their entire outdoor estate so that they can focus on their core business. This complete package takes Grounds Maintenance to the ultimate level, and we will tailor works and schedules to meet a client’s individual requirements. As a minimum commitment, the OUTCO Platinum Grounds Maintenance package includes everything in all other packages, but with the addition of extras such as sensory baskets, treatment, weeding and feeding, security and safety audits and landscape planning, with 52+ visits per year.

Why use OUTCO packages?

We are the outdoor estate experts. The delivery of Grounds Maintenance services can itself create liability when untrained staff who are not up to date on best practices are responsible for its execution. At OUTCO we take every effort to reduce risk to a minimum. Alongside our staff training, we have a robust system of risk assessment and task planning, as well as close monitoring of staff and equipment. All of this is essential in delivering a service that is built from the ground up around safety and best practice.

Manage liability and stay compliant

Trees can be a particular liability and, in accordance with national requirements, OUTCO ensures that your grounds stay compliant. Branches should always be monitored to offer 2.4m clearance above paths, 5m over roads, 1m from all street lighting, traffic signs, traffic lights, street name plates and 2m from windows or adjacent premises.

Comply with the latest regulations

The legislation that has to be complied to includes: Hazardous Waste England and Wales Regulations 2005, Control of Pesticides Regulations 1986, Control of Substances Hazardous Health Regulations 2002, Food and Environment Protection Act 1985, Control of Pesticides Regulations 1986, Weeds Act 1959 and the Ragwort Control Act 2003. Police and local authorities also have enforcement powers with respect to Japanese Knotweed and other weed species. There is also a considerable amount of legislation that exists to protect desirable wildlife.

OUTCO is a licensed upper tier waste carrier, broker and dealer and as such has experience of working safely to standards set out in COPLAR and House Mark Photo Book. We supply staff with equipment of the latest models and fully understand our responsibilities under Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER), The Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and the Control of Noise at Work Regulations (CNWR), providing staff training, recording daily checks and programming periodic maintenance.

For example, through hedge trimming at inappropriate times of the year (nesting birds are protected by law), by strimming the grass near ponds (Great Crested Newts are protected by law) or by unwittingly clearing a grassy area that is home to protected plant species such as orchids.
